I want to share some very important and good news for the entire LIFE EFFECT community.

In recent months, there has been a difficult situation around the project related to two pages of the game on Steam. All this time, my main task has been to protect the interests of the players who supported LIFE EFFECT before, and to make sure that they do not lose access to future updates and development of the project.

Today I am pleased to announce that, together with Steam, we have managed to find a solution.

What has changed? 🏆

The original version of the game LIFE EFFECT (AppID 2191050) has received the status of Retired Version and is no longer the main version of the project.

The official and actively supported version of the game is now:

This particular version is on my personal developer and publisher account, where I continue to work on the game. All future updates, bug fixes, events, new content and further development of the project will be published here.

Important for players of the old version

Throughout the whole process, it was especially important for me not to leave without the support of players who once purchased LIFE EFFECT on the old Steam page.

I contacted Steam with a request to help these players keep access to the current version of the game and continue to receive all future content.

I am very glad to inform you that Steam helped resolve this issue.

All owners of LIFE EFFECT (AppID 2191050) have received free access to LIFE EFFECT Survival (AppID 4474950).

This means that if you bought the game on the old page, you can now play the new current version and receive all future updates without having to buy the game again.

As a single developer, I really fought to ensure that the players of the old page would not be left without access to the game and its further development. It was very important to me that the people who once supported LIFE EFFECT did not lose the opportunity to continue their journey with the project.
