Important information regarding the release date of Letter Lost!

As we approach the 27th, we've made the decision to delay release of Letter Lost. We chose to delay in order to do further playtesting to make sure you don't escape before your time keep the mail running smoothly. We're a very small team, and we're working around the clock to get the game to its peak postal potential so you can be ready to start your shift.

We will be announcing the official new release date during the Summer Games Fest Women-Led Games Showcase on June 4th, but rest assured, the release date is not months in the future, it is weeks.

We know you're so excited to get into the post office, and we're so grateful for all of your support!

In the meantime, here's a list of fun very out of context tidbits/spoilers to intrigue you:

  • As far as we're aware, there's still a secret left undiscovered in the demo that nobody has found. It will still be present in the main game.

  • Liv is not the only voiced character, but some playthroughs may not discover this. (Excluding radio voices)

  • It is possible to unlock another picture to appear as Employee of the Week.

  • In his original design, Albert was married to Lilian and only ever appeared with her. He was cut from this storyline to be used elsewhere and accidentally became much more interesting.

  • The radio has a few fun hidden secrets that we don't think will be discovered for quite a while.

  • Because of a bug, only one playtester found a means of "escaping" the post office. She has been sent to the Penance Chamber and remembers nothing of the ordeal.

  • There are items and actions you have access to immediately upon starting the game that are directly involved in some endings. But what are they??

  • "Underworld Resources: It's like Human Resources but for the Underworld."

  • The demo had 4 stories you could discover while playing. The full game will have closer to 20, most with multiple endings to experiment with.

  • There is a phone number that gives different results depending on when in the game you call it.

  • You are not the only person on the island who Indric has spoken to.

  • There is a segment of the radio voiced by fan-submitted voices of (totally normal) spooky/ghostly lines.

  • There is a recording you can find of a dance tutorial that is involved in a puzzle.

  • It is possible to die of old age in the full game.

We'll see you at the post office soon!

-Liv
