Hello Chefs! For this week's update, we have prepared quite a lot of changes.

changedAchievements Another super-big feature is the achievements system. Paweł, one of our awesome gameplay consultants who is also a certified achievements freak, designed 39 achievements, Bartek designed the icons and I've put it all together into the game and integrated with Steam. We have a separate list of achievements in-game that looks like this:
addedchanged the size of images presented during the level start (new ingredient, new appliance, new dish, etc) so that they are sharp (some of them were upscaled before and appeared blurry). Thanks to Maciej, our awesome community manager for pointing that out and being persistent :-)
changedchanged the sprites used in the order cards so that they are crisper (again thanks to Maciek for pointing out their blurriness)
changedchanged the names of difficulty levels to make them more intuitive
fixedfixed a bug that sometimes caused serving a dish to subtract time from an order card instead of adding it

Other changes:

  • changed the size of images presented during the level start (new ingredient, new appliance, new dish, etc) so that they are sharp (some of them were upscaled before and appeared blurry). Thanks to Maciej, our awesome community manager for pointing that out and being persistent :-)

  • changed the sprites used in the order cards so that they are crisper (again thanks to Maciek for pointing out their blurriness)

  • changed the names of difficulty levels to make them more intuitive

  • fixed a bug that sometimes caused serving a dish to subtract time from an order card instead of adding it

  • fixed a bug that caused some particle effects to render as pink rectangles when ending a level

  • renamed the button in the summary screen from "Next episode" to "Continue" to avoid confusion (thanks to Karolina for the suggestion)

  • Lucy tweaked the level configuration for Season 3 to make it more balanced

  • change the sprite for Naan (Season 3) to make it crisper

  • tweaked the animation for order cards spawning (the underneath plate no longer spawns first)

  • fixed a bug that caused the cookbook to show only the first few recipes in the Battle mode

  • added the sound for plate jumping and disappearing when completing an order

  • added the sound for when entering the upgrades shop from within the Battle mode scene

  • squashed a few typos

What's Next? Endless mode is the last big feature we plan to incorporate into Let's Cook Together. If everything goes smoothly, it should be live within the next week. Other planned updates:

  • Language support for French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Portuguese.   • Better and more clear information on how to play the game remotely

  • Other small features and bugfixes
