Patch 1 is live. No new content yet, but a lot of fixes and quality of life improvements

  • Added sound effects and particle effects when respawning for better feedback

  • The HUD scores have been tweaked to try and be clearer about the information they are displaying

  • Added sound effects for when you score points

  • When a Match starts, the instructions for the Game Mode briefly appear on screen

  • Added "horn beep" sound effects to Frontyard / Suburbia Arena to alert you when a car is about to drive past

  • Improved the menu flow for configuring and starting a Match. Now you can preset the amount of players and bots that will enter the Lobby, but you can still change you Party

  • Added an Option for setting the amount of Keyboard players (1-4)

  • Removed some Options that were for developer experimentation

  • Improved how the game handles controller connect and disconnect events

  • The mouse cursor will hide itself after a couple of seconds of inactivity

That wraps up the first week after launch. We'll continue to try and work on quality of life improvements for the game, as well as the Cemetery, a new arena that's in the works... Cheers
