LET IT DIE: INFERNO changes
We’ve asked Director Shin to respond to some additional questions that weren’t answered during the AMA #2 stream. Check out his answers below!
By any chance, is there a fix in the works for the bug that doubles the game audio in certain locations (with the biggest one being the entire staircase under the entrance to the Dreamseeker boss portal)? — Kense
It sounds like a bug, but unfortunately, we have not been able to recreate it. It would be great if you could let us know which audio it is (is it BGM or SE?) and in what situations the issue occurs in detail.
Would there potentially be weapon mastery added to make the weapons more effective? Just like in DEATHVERSE where you could pick perks for your weapon after it reached a certain level? — Ziraku
There are 3 different Teams for the weapon types, and there are certain masteries that strengthen a specific Team. For example, a mastery that would increase attack for S.W.A.N Team weapons.
Regarding the Technician body type, since Season 2 introduced a rework of item weights and added Mastery for carrying additional weight to all body types, it’s now possible for non-Technicians to carry many items without issue. As a result, the advantage of using the Technician feels significantly diminished. Are there any plans to make adjustments or improvements to the Technician in the future? — Oruhasu
In Season 3, you will be able to choose a body type, and each body will be more unique, so please look forward to some big updates coming soon!
Coming from the original LET IT DIE, INFERNO’S combat depth is quite simple, with the way a player can fight leaving much to be desired. Will there be future mechanics or systems to approach weapons? Heavy Attacks, Equip Slots, maybe alternative styles to weapons? — Santko
We currently don't have a plan to change the combat system drastically. But we will be making adjustments to weapons for better balance, and new weapons will be added for the upcoming new season that will change the gameplay feel.
Inferno does not seem to have much of an endgame; repeating Body Ranks 1-6 stops being fun after a while for the more experienced players. Will more challenging content like Jackal bosses or something akin to Let It Die's endless Tengoku area be added in the future? — Santko
We are currently revising our plans and making adjustments to make PvE mode the primary focus. While we can’t share details just yet, we are planning to make enhancements to the game’s replayable elements and add new content!
A Character/Body currently costs 1200 DM, will you consider also selling them in DLC Bundles that include their respective Bag, Charm, and Emote like you did with Ten & Sasuke in the Deluxe/Ultimate Edition of the game? — Archevist
There are no plans to bundle additional body types with cosmetics for sale. We ask that you either purchase them individually or buy a higher-tier edition that includes the body.
Could we get some returning character bodies? Like Queen B or the Jackals? Or like Hunter Q or G or even 44CE bodies? — Gboon
While we can’t share details just yet, we are actively discussing plans within the development team to deliver content that fans of our previous titles will enjoy.
We hope this provides a little more insight on the future of LET IT DIE: INFERNO. Hang on to any additional questions you might have because another AMA may be coming soon!
