New Duo & PvE Modes

Starting Season 2, you will be able to make your descent into Hell Gate in two new ways: duo mode and solo PvE mode. Along with these new modes, enemy placements have shifted across the map, so staying hypervigilant is a must if you want to escape alive.

Duo Mode

Bring your friends into the mix for the first time ever with the new duo mode, where you can explore the depths of Hell Gate in PvE mode alongside your bestie. In this mode, death is not the end—make strategic use of your friend revives, an ability exclusive to duo mode.

PvE Mode

In solo PvE mode, put your survival skills to the test; it’s truly you against the world. A deathblow with this weapon blocks attacks from all directions.

New Weapons

Three new weapons have been added to the mix to further diversify your attack strategy: Shield, Vampiric Tree, and Dekotora.

Shield

This is a guard-focused weapon that increases your guard strength similar to that of armor. A deathblow with this weapon blocks attacks from all directions.

Vampiric Tree

This weapon deals a heavy single attack blow and charged spinning double strike. When used to make a deathblow, it inflicts “Curse” in one hit, making it an ideal weapon choice for strong duo follow-ups.

Dekotora

A customized weapon built from a truck that you can also use to dash. Charge it up to increase its attack power and dash force, allowing you to forcefully slam into enemies from a short distance or make a narrow escape. Use its deathblow to change your dash direction and obliterate enemies in your path.

Use these weapons to create new dual-wielding combinations and unlock additional attack combinations!

Player Experience Improvements

Season 2 introduces a wave of new features inspired by community feedback, focused on improving the overall player experience since launch.

This season’s quality-of-life changes include:

  • Target lock-on feature

  • Updated Mastery system

  • New unlock based crafting

  • Increased storage slots in the Safe Box by 10

  • Adjustments to material weight values

The team will continue to compile suggestions for similar improvements to the player community for future seasons. Keep an eye out for more updates!

New Limited-Time Event: Start Dash

Introduced with Season 2, Start Dash is a new event that will occur at the beginning of each season. Beating the final boss during Season 2 will grant you a special charm, Raider Medal: 1st Era. The charm rewarded will change each season.

Character Customization Improvements

This season also brings several new customization options for both your Raider as well as your base.

New customization additions include:

  • Charm

  • Backpack

  • Interior

  • Emote

New Music

Three new songs composed by Akira Yamaoka are being added to the game this season.
