Lemon Cake Devlog #4 Cat Cafe & Frozen Sweets!

Hi everyone! I’ve been looking forward to sharing this November devlog with you all since I added a lot of fun features this month such as a cat cafe, a store assistant, coffee and frozen desserts!

Cat Cafe

You can now add furniture in your store to create your own cat cafe! A few cats will visit your store and hang out every day… and with a bit of luck, a customer might decide to adopt one of them!

Store Assistant

Hire help to run your store more efficiently! Your assistant will be in charge of multiple tasks to keep everything running smoothly.

• Take customers’ orders.

• Serve coffee to customers to improve their patience.

• Clean tables to quickly seat new customers.

• Move pastries to the window displays.

Coffee Machine

Prepare and serve coffee in the store to increase your customers’ patience! Serving coffee completely refills a customer’s patience while they are waiting for their order. However, each customer can only be served one cup of coffee, so their order can’t be delayed more than once!

New Pastries

I’ve added six new pastries this month! Here’s a quick list of the new recipes you’ll be able to learn in the game.

• Cherry Bundt Cake

• Blueberry Cheesecake

• Carrot Cupcake

• Honey Cruller

• Chocolate Pancake

• Red Velvet Cake

Freezer

In addition to pastries, I’ve also created a new type of sweet this month: frozen desserts! Since these can’t be baked in an oven, you’ll have to upgrade your kitchen with a freezer to prepare them. Here are the six frozen desserts you’ll be able to make.

• Soft Serve

• Grape Popsicle

• Ice Cream Sandwich

• Strawberry Ice Cream

• Waffle Sundae

• Lemon Sorbet

Greenhouse Plants

You’ll now be able to grow unique plants, bushes and trees for each ingredient in the greenhouse with this visual update. I’ve also finished creating the crops by adding a carrot and a lemon!

Lemon Cake is now getting close to full release! I have about two months of work left on the game. I’ll confirm the exact release date soon!
