changedThere are over 50 unique weapons in Leif’s Adventure: axes, swords, battle spears, hammers and clubs. There’s even a hammer with a pig mounted on top of it. Each weapon brings a unique advantage and some are infused with elemental power. There’s a lot to consider when picking a weapon to defeat the evils in the Netherworld. Let’s dive in!
changedDamage System
changedWhen equipping Leif with a weapon you should consider three aspects: damage value, durability and the type of damage the weapon deals. Some weapons deal a ton of damage, but are slow, or break after a short while. Balance the pros and cons of each weapon to suit your playstyle.
changedSome weapons have "hidden" features. There are weapons that heal you with a certain probability. Some weapons create a projectile each time you complete a combo. Or even a weapon that is cursed, and damages you when you use, it until you have completed a certain quest.
changedThe elemental damage system in Leif’s Adventure is based on the Rock, Paper, Scissors principle. The three elements are fire, ice and electricity. Fire is effective against ice, ice works best against electricity and electricity beats fire.
changedAlways consider the elemental effect a weapon can have on your enemy. Elemental effects can make your weapon extremely effective against certain types of enemies, but be less effective against others. Sometimes elemental effects are necessary to overcome obstacles and unlock parts of the world.

Damage System

When equipping Leif with a weapon you should consider three aspects: damage value, durability and the type of damage the weapon deals. Some weapons deal a ton of damage, but are slow, or break after a short while. Balance the pros and cons of each weapon to suit your playstyle.

Some weapons have "hidden" features. There are weapons that heal you with a certain probability. Some weapons create a projectile each time you complete a combo. Or even a weapon that is cursed, and damages you when you use, it until you have completed a certain quest.

The power of the elements

The elemental damage system in Leif’s Adventure is based on the Rock, Paper, Scissors principle. The three elements are fire, ice and electricity. Fire is effective against ice, ice works best against electricity and electricity beats fire.

Always consider the elemental effect a weapon can have on your enemy. Elemental effects can make your weapon extremely effective against certain types of enemies, but be less effective against others. Sometimes elemental effects are necessary to overcome obstacles and unlock parts of the world.

Final tips Some weapons have a chance of dealing critical damage, dealing massive amounts of damage if you are lucky. You can throw all your weapons except for the hammer. But the hammer has a special area damage attack, if you have unlocked this skill. All enemies carrying a weapon will drop it after you defeat it.

That’s pretty much it! Get ready to wield that pig war hammer and save the Netherworld!
