Legends Of Iona RPG - SOON TO BE FREE?

We also recognized that the camera controls and the game art is not top AAA, so we started to work on a second version that was promising but was not able to complete it because of lack of funding. Here is why, after years of efforts and development, we were victims of an unrelated and unfair organized smear campaign and the community that was growing around the game died shortly. But since two years, things calmed down. Maybe it is time to give Iona a second chance?

Hi everyone, long time no see! ːsteamhappyː

Iona was made over a long period of 10 years, with volunteers, part time workers. The lead was driven by pure passion and countless hours of management, production and touch ups. It is many years and lifetime wholehearted investment in this passion game.

The reason why the game took so long to publish is that we developed our own 3D engine and tools called the Decoy3D engine and developed the game part time over 10 years. After 5 years, we decided to test many engines, (CryEngine*, Unreal* 3) and decided for practicality to switch to the Unity3D* engine because of its vast exporting features that Decoy3D did not have.

The game is inspired from classic RPGs like Shinning the Holy Ark* on the Saturn, Zelda*, Some colorisation styling from games like WoW*, labyrinths and guards, found in games like Phantasy Star* 1987. (We are big fans!)

This game is unique and we wanted to share it with everyone! We wanted to give back to the gaming community and release the game for FREE! Yes for FREE!
