This week as well, we carefully read and deeply pondered every single suggestion and bit of constructive criticism you shared. As always, rather than providing a formal announcement, as the Director responsible for the game, I will candidly and honestly answer what you are most curious about: why we made these decisions and how we plan to change moving forward.

Details Explanation and Direction for Key Agenda Items

Beyond simple acceptance, we would like to explain the specific direction of improvements and the reasons for rejection that you may be curious about.

  1. Reduction of Cost for Skill and Artifact enhancement (1st Agenda Item)

Warriors have requested not to make Skill and Artifact enhancement even more difficult due to the difficulty of obtaining gWEMIX Pieces in the Hall of Gold.

  • Director's Answer: To maintain the balance of the current economic system, reducing the gWEMIX Piece consumption itself for Skill and Artifact Growth content is extremely difficult, considering Legend of YMIR's organically linked economic ecosystem. However, I deeply sympathize with your burden. Therefore, while maintaining the consumption for that content, we plan to ease the overall consumption burden by significantly lowering or replacing the proportion of gWEMIX required for ongoing consumption content such as future equipment crafting.

  1. Introduction of Trophy Exhibition Hall and Buff System (2nd Agenda Item)

Warriors suggested adding a system to utilize previous YMIR Cup and YMIR League Trophies, granting additional buffs (stats) based on the grade and quantity of Trophies.

  • Director's Answer: I believe the glory achieved in the YMIR Cup and YMIR League, which are at the heart of competition in Legend of YMIR, should serve as a source of pride and achievement for future adventures. Therefore, to ensure that trophies fiercely earned in previous Seasons of the YMIR Cup and League do not go to waste, we will swiftly prepare a way to utilize them to gain stats, in our September update.

  1. Improvement of Server Transfer (3rd Agenda Item)

We have carefully reviewed the feedback from Warriors requesting improvements, as server transfers were sometimes unavailable due to bots.

  • Director's Answer: Server transfer slots are determined based on detailed server conditions, such as the number of users and activity levels on each server. We apologize for the difficulty you are experiencing due to being unable to transfer to your desired server under these circumstances. We are thoroughly reviewing improvements to raise the barrier for bot accounts transferring servers, thereby protecting transfers meant for actual gameplay, and to better reflect partner opinions for Partner's Server.

  1. Inclusion of 'Rune' System in Presets (4th Agenda Item)

There was a proposal to include Runes in Presets for convenience when switching between PvE and PvP setups.

  • Director's Answer: For the convenience of Warriors, we will improve the structure to allow managing settings such as Runes all at once, along with expanding the number of Presets, in our October update.

  1. Server Battle Participation Criteria (5th Agenda Item)

Currently, only characters ranking within the top 250 can join the Server Battle, leading to opinions that the majority of users feel left out, along with a proposal to create a new Server Battle dedicated to Lower Tier.

  • Director's AnswerServer Battle is core content where top users representing each server engage in honorable competitive combat. Therefore, creating a new League dedicated to Lower Tier does not align well with its original direction, so we intend to maintain the current criteria. However, to address the disappointment felt by those unable to participate and allow all Warriors on the server to enjoy the experience together, we are currently discussing the development of a new type of content. Once details are finalized, we will provide a separate announcement.

Additional Updates and Improvement in Progress

In addition to the Top 5 agenda items, we would like to inform you of the details that are being rapidly improved based on various feedback sent by Warriors.

Class, Content, and Balanced Adjustments

  • Volva and Warlord Balance Buff: To boost the performance of these two classes, which are currently somewhat marginalized in the meta, we are positively reviewing powerful balance adjustments, including Skill renewals.

  • Imminent Reveal of New Class TeaserThe first news regarding the long-awaited New Class will soon be presented to you in the form of a teaser.
  • Valhalla and Clan Reward Buff (Targeting August): Within August, we will expand the floors of Valhalla (Temple of Chaos/Folkvang) and improve the overall reward structure upwards.

  • Clan Skill Expansion (Targeting September): For Clans whose Growth has stagnated after mastering all Clan Skills, we will apply a Clan Skill expansion update within September.

  • Class Change and Essence System Overhaul: In line with the upcoming 1st Anniversary, we are preparing a 1st Anniversary Class Change. We are reviewing discount package compositions along with the "abolition of Essence period limits," which many Warriors found inconvenient. As it is being held to commemorate the 1st Anniversary, we will improve various inconveniences to provide a highly satisfying Class Change experience. Please look forward to it.

Convenience and System Improvements

  • Consumable Scroll Supply Improvement (Targeting September): To address the inconvenience where Warriors end up not using Lesser Scrolls due to having large quantities of Higher/Middle/Lesser Scrolls, we are reviewing the addition of crafting recipes to convert Lesser Scrolls into Middle and Higher Scrolls. (Targeting update within September)

  • Story Deck UI and Ranking Filter Improvements: We are currently developing a UI that allows you to check Story Deck set progress and applied buffs at a glance on the main screen, as well as a server-by-server Ranking filter to check rankings by server following changes to Server Battle participation conditions. (Targeting September)

  • Expedition Boss/Raid Cutscene Skip: We are reviewing the development of a skip feature to enhance convenience.

Economy and Product Improvement Direction

  • Review of Equipment Value Preservation Plans신When launching new grade items, we are reviewing plans to meaningfully utilize or inherit previous grade items so that the value of equipment you worked hard to enhance is preserved.
  • Utility Equipment Fate's Safe Enhancement Challenge Ticket: To improve the inconvenience where Utility Equipment could not be enhanced because Safe Enhancement was not provided for Utility Equipment, we will add 'Fate's Safe Utility Equipment Enhancement Challenge Ticket' as a selective option within the Fate Enhancement Support Package. (Targeting August 11)

  • Web Shop Product RenewalFollowing updates to new Content and packages, we will verify and improve the efficiency of products in the Web Shop.

I believe that Warriors' sharp feedback is a necessary growing pain for Legend of YMIR to reach perfection.

I will continue to be a Director who truly listens to the voices of Warriors.

Thank you.

Sincerely, Kim Sung-hee, Director of Legend of YMIR
