The Battle for the Throne, the Dawn of the YMIR Cup
Greetings, This is Legend of YMIR.
As announced on April 10, YMIR Cup Season 2, the endless journey toward the ultimate throne, is about to begin.
Following server ‘xaou’, which claimed the title of the strongest in Season 1, we now await the warriors who will rise as the next legends. Please find below the detailed information on YMIR Cup Season 2, where a new epic is about to unfold.
YMIR Cup Season 2 Rules
The YMIR Cup is a separate competitive content mode that operates independently from the regular Server Battle held every Tuesday, and it will proceed regardless of inter server matching results.
The basic rules are the same as those of the regular Server Battle. However, some detailed rules have changed since Season 1, so please make sure to review the information below carefully.

Even if the rules for the regular Server Battle are changed during the tournament period, the YMIR Cup will continue under the existing rules unless otherwise announced. (If any changes become necessary, they will be announced separately.)
YMIR Cup Scoring Rules
During the YMIR Cup, each clan earns points through the same actions used in the regular Server Battle.
Points earned during a match are used to determine the winning server in the event of a draw.
After the tournament ends, rewards are distributed based on the server’s final placement and each clan’s accumulated score.

Qualifying Tournament and Main Bracket
In Season 2, the qualifying matchups will be determined based on the final YMIR League Season 2 standings, which reflect the results of both the Promotion/Relegation Match and the Ultimate Showdown. To ensure more balanced matchmaking, participation this season will be limited to higher leagues and higher ranked servers within each region.
Server Transfer Notice: If you wish to participate in the tournament, please transfer to an eligible server during the server transfer period before the YMIR Cup begins. To ensure smooth tournament operations, server transfers will be restricted after the tournament starts.
Event for Non Participating Servers: For warriors on servers that are unfortunately unable to join the qualifiers, a variety of support events that can help with progression will also be prepared.
(Reference) Ranking Changes Based on the Results of the Ultimate Showdown and Promotion/Relegation Match
Ultimate Showdown: A win results in League 1, 1st place / loss results in League 1, 2nd place.
Promotion/Relegation Match: After the Promotion/Relegation Match, higher seeds will be assigned based on placement in a higher regular league and a higher rank in YMIR League Season 2.

In ASIA, the tournament will be divided into two divisions, and together with NAEU and SA, a total of four tournaments will be held. The winning server from each tournament will advance to the offline World Championship.
The schedule for the offline matches will be announced separately once finalized and may be subject to change depending on circumstances.
The Korean National Team participating in the Legend Match will be composed of top tier warriors selected based on a comprehensive review of factors such as character progression and community activity.
The Steam Region is excluded from participation this season, as it is still in the early stages of launch and there is currently a gap in strength compared to other servers.

YMIR Cup rewards will be distributed based on the final results achieved by your server and clan. As with YMIR Cup Season 1, we are preparing a wide variety of generous rewards so that warriors can fully experience the excitement of the YMIR Cup as a global festival. Detailed information regarding the rewards will be announced separately at a later date.
