Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 changes
What a week it was!
Now that Steam Next Fest has wrapped up and we have had time to reflect on everything, we wanted to take a moment to share some interesting stats about the Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 Demo.
First of all we wanted to say a big Thank You to everyone who downloaded the demo, left a review, shared feedback, streamed the game, or simply told a friend about LMS2.
The response has been incredible and we’re genuinely blown away by the positive sentiment that the demo received and the enthusiasm shown from the community.
The Numbers
We thought now would be a good time to share some of the numbers with you about how the demo performed during Next Fest.
So far, we’ve had:
19,821 demo downloads
85% positive play review score
Over 670,000 views across content creator videos (and still rising!)
34 minutes average playtime...which means most of you really spent your time doing a good job!
Seeing so many of you jump in, play the game and share your experiences has been amazing. We cannot thank you enough for spreading the word that Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 is coming. Positive reviews during events like Steam Next Fest make a huge difference in helping more players discover the game and reading your positive reviews has been one of the highlights of the event for us.
Creator Coverage
A massive thank you also goes out to the content creators, who have spent time playing and sharing the demo with their audiences. It’s been fantastic watching people discover the game in their own way, so to everyone who covered Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 and recommended it to friends we really appreciate it. Your support means the world to our team!
We’ve been listening
One of the biggest goals of releasing the demo was to learn what players enjoyed, and also where we could improve. We’ve been reading every comment, review, Discord message and listening to every video and are currently working our way through this list.
The good news is that we’re already working through some of the feedback shared and are taking everything we’ve learnt from Steam Next Fest and putting it back to the development. Once we have collated all this information we will share a further update next week regarding all the fixing, polishing and balancing that is happening to make the launch version the best it can be.
If you enjoyed your time with the demo, the best way to support us is to wishlist the game, tell a friend and keep sharing your thoughts. (And if you haven’t played the LMS2 demo yet, then it’s still live at the moment for you to try it out).
Once again, thank you for supporting us on this journey and we can’t wait to show you what’s coming next!
