Patch Notes 2.0 – Major Update

New Characters

  • 2 new playable characters to discover and unlock through exploration and special encounters

New Game Mode

  • Added Infinite Mode: an endless variant that pulls enemies from across the game, with enemy health scaling based on how far you progress

  • Unlock by spending gems in the Obelisk after beating the game

New Enemies & Encounters

  • Balance changes to enemies with additional enemy skills to make fights more unique

Character & Combat Changes

  • Blue Monkability changed so Momentum now carries over between battles instead of resetting at battle's end
  • Other charactersadded new skills on level up
  • 50% of Momentum is now retained for consecutive battles; Momentum is fully lost when visiting special events

  • Changed skill events to teach Momentum abilities from other characters, but at a higher Momentum cost

  • Overall damage output rebalanced across characters; Brawler's lifesteal skill nerfed

Obelisk Updates

  • 2 new Obelisk upgrades to unlock

  • Removed some Obelisk upgrades that were too powerful

  • All current players will have their gems respecced due to these changes

Balance Changes

  • Enemy health, speed, and abilities adjusted to create a more balanced game experience

UI/UX Improvements

  • Each piece of equipment now has a corresponding icon

  • Fixed status effect icons overlapping on character portraits

Achievements

  • Added new Steam achievements, including unlocking all 13 characters and completing the game with each character

Audio

  • Added unique battle music for major encounters and boss fights

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where a certain character's stats and equipped weapon would reset

  • Fixed the Forge always upgrading the first weapon for dual-wielding characters

  • Fixed battle menus defaulting to highlighting the first skill

  • Other various bug fixes and improvements
