Last Whisper changes
We have big news: Last Whisper is undergoing a complete reconstruction. We’re starting from scratch to create a version that is more immersive, smoother, and way more fun.
⏳ Estimated time: around 6 months During this period, the game will be less active, but we will release a beta as soon as the first playable portion is ready. The beta will be available through the “Public Test” branch in Steam’s beta selection.
🆕 Here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming:
Random starting point in the Level 1–10 zone
New starting quest to guide you better
New realistic animations using Unreal Engine 5’s GASP system
New playable character
New interaction animations, like tree cutting
New Gear Score equipment system
Boss fights via a dedicated menu, with Gear Score to balance the challenge
New home decoration items
New vehicles: boat, helicopter, and car
Gas mask and night vision
Radiation zones
Optimized city with more locations to explore
Fully completed 100% map
Steam market item selling system, similar to Miscreated
Exploration and character progression gameplay, like SurrounDead, but more realistic and cooperative
