Ahoy, pirates!
The time has come. The demo is now officially closed, and what a voyage it turned out to be. Every bit of it came down to you.
Keeping the demo open that extra week was no gamble either. Nearly 50,000 pirates sailed in over those final days, and you fired up the game more than 168,000 times. On Sunday we even caught 900+ of you online at once, brushing right up against our all-time record all over again!
What an adventure it has been
The contests, the bug reports, the late-night lobbies, the booty slaps, all of it made this an unforgettable ride. You did not just play the demo, you helped shape the game. So do not forget to swing by on August 18 when Early Access sets sail.
