changedWhat is Last Card Dungeon?A unique card-based system : Your deck is your very soul! Every card is a fragment of you, and you use them to attack, and interact with the world. But be careful, you can't just spam your best cards. Each action "taps" a card, and you need to manage them carefully to avoid a soft lock.

A Tale of Cards and Souls

One night at a tavern, you lost a card game to a hooded stranger. Your soul was the price.

You wake up with a strange deck on your nightstand; each card is a fragment of who you are. Play them to regain memories and power…but when the deck runs out, so do you.

What is Last Card Dungeon?

It's a roguelike autobattler mixed with card management and dungeon crawling...and your soul is literally on the line. Here's a quick rundown of the main features:

  • A unique card-based system: Your deck is your very soul! Every card is a fragment of you, and you use them to attack, and interact with the world. But be careful, you can't just spam your best cards. Each action "taps" a card, and you need to manage them carefully to avoid a soft lock.

  • Strategic Auto-Battler CombatEvery run is a new battlefield. Your position, combined with your weapon, determines how you'll deal damage to the enemies. A big 2-Handed Sword will be best for the front, while a Bow will be most effective from the back. Choosing the right weapon is the key to survive.
  • Classes and WeaponsYou can choose from different classes, each with its own unique starting gear and skills. Want to be a knight who can discard a card to defend? Or a berserker who risks HP for powerful attacks? There's a playstyle for everyone, and you'll find new weapons with different effects to experiment with on each run.
  • Challenging and ExplorationThe dungeon is ever-changing. You'll face random encounters, traps, and powerful enemies. Every run is a fresh challenge, and you'll have to make tough choices, do you risk fighting a sleeping monster for better loot, or play it safe and find a new path?

A little confession...

I’ve always made management games until now, but this time I wanted to dive into roguelikes! Don’t worry though…I couldn’t resist keeping some management in there, you’ll still be tinkering with gear and optimizing your heroes.

Wishlist it now!

If this sounds like your kind of game, please add it to your wishlist, it really helps me out as a solo developer and ensures you don’t miss future updates.

Thanks for reading!

That’s all for now. Thanks for checking out my game! I’m going back to shuffling cards until my soul runs out…hopefully I’ll draw something good before release day. 😅

See you in the dungeon!

Carlo.
