An Updated Answer System

A slight but major overhaul in the answer system. I feel that you don't talk to people or girls knowing what stats you're gonna get. You talk to them based on your knowledge of their values. Sort of.

removedBasically, your answers to Mina's questions will no longer tell you the stat gains. For many, the game got harder. The price of the brick gone up.
changedThe stats are less transparent, but they are still in place. I understand it's a debatable approach but not really. There's a lot of mystery behind answers, and this game is supposed to challenge your judgement.
addedI also added more songs to this game. You'll hear them scattered. I'd say they sound like they are from the Pinkerton album. I'll be real with you, that entire album has "loser back home" vibes more I think about it. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but I still appreciate the expressive nature and musicality of it. But I'd pick the Smiths over Weezer any day of the week when I'm in an insufferable mood. But these days it's mostly Deftones and whatever my fiancé plays in the car. Baddie music is pretty nice!
addedLike I said, I'll be updating this game throughout its lifetime. But I am just one guy so I get focused on making the next game. I'm already prototyping my 4th game. I'll always come back to this. Let me know how you guys like or dislike the new update.

A slight but major overhaul in the answer system.

I feel that you don't talk to people or girls knowing what stats you're gonna get. You talk to them based on your knowledge of their values. Sort of.

Basically, your answers to Mina's questions will no longer tell you the stat gains. For many, the game got harder. The price of the brick gone up.

You hover over the icon and it tells you what each answer means with a bit more context.

The stats are less transparent, but they are still in place. I understand it's a debatable approach but not really. There's a lot of mystery behind answers, and this game is supposed to challenge your judgement.

There was an era when Mina was easier to talk to and manipulate. That's over now. Her standards gone up. BUT you might enjoy this better organically now. I just want her to feel more real, and having "stats this" and "stats that" ruins the immersion. There is a lot of mysterious elements of this game and the introduction of "Date Topics" will make it more fun. There are only 50 date topics in this game, plus 25 extra that are unlocked through replays. So 75 total.

I also added more songs to this game.

I have been focused on NO ENTRY and also the soundtrack for that game. Please check it out! If you like the dialogue and vibes of Landmine, NO ENTRY will have it too, just a bit different. More characters, a club setting, but very funny and unhinged writing. You might like the look of the Servile Bouncer.

ALSO! THE OST IS COMING OUT. It was supposed to come out today but I derped on the Steam backend and missed a step so likely next week. Please buy it. It really supports me and keeps me whimsy. But if you're born after 2000, you can also listen to it on Spotify or whatever streaming services you use. I make pennies from streaming, though.

Like I said, I'll be updating this game throughout its lifetime. But I am just one guy so I get focused on making the next game. I'm already prototyping my 4th game. I'll always come back to this. Let me know how you guys like or dislike the new update.

With much love
