changedThere are several reasons to restarted the development, and one of them is due to lack of optimization, even I, as the developer, can't stand along with it. It's been so difficult to develop a game with very poor optimization with my limited resources. and for those wondering why, the original version of the game is made with Unity High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP), it indeed has beautiful visuals but with high performance cost. And the restarted version is using Unity Universal Render Pipeline (URP), with tricky methods, the visuals could stand beside HDRP.
changedInstead of working on the full game at the time, I decide to divide the game into 3 parts with cheaper price.
addedThanks for reading until the end, I really appreciate your support and can't wait to share the first look of the new game to you!

There are several reasons to restarted the development, and one of them is due to lack of optimization, even I, as the developer, can't stand along with it.

And another reason is due to the expanded ideas for the game, once I started the development, I don't have a clear vision on how the game should be. Thus, I spent some weeks to refresh my mind and create a clear note and game design document for ensure the game is as interesting and fun as possible.

Instead of working on the full game at the time, I decide to divide the game into 3 parts with cheaper price.

  1. The first part, you as the player will play in more linear mission and act as an intro of the game.

  2. The second part, you will be allowed to play multiplayer with other player and play in more open world area to gain more experience by doing the quests, eliminate bosses and explore the dungeons and grind more resources, weapons, gears, and allies.

  3. The third part is what we can call as the final destination, where the player will be brought back to more linear story to defeat the final boss.

And currently, I am working on the first part of the game, which will be the base game. for the other parts, I'm planning to make them as a DLCs, so the progress and items players have grinded will be usable in the next part.

Thanks for reading until the end, I really appreciate your support and can't wait to share the first look of the new game to you!

Stay tuned, Flat Coaster
