changedWe’re continuing to expand the combat system in The Blood Diary . In future versions, enemies will be able to unleash full attack combos, so simply attacking won’t be enough - you’ll need to watch their movements carefully and react at exactly the right moment. Dodge incoming attacks, parry strikes at the last second, and wait for the perfect opportunity to counterattack. If you manage to avoid the enemy’s entire combo, Selena will take no damage and will be able to respond with her signature attack. But even a single mistake can break your rhythm and change the course of the battle. We want the combat system to reward not only your character’s strength, but also your own skill as a player. Of course, we haven’t forgotten about those who are coming to The Blood Diary primarily for its story, characters, and atmosphere. A simplified combat mode will be available for players who want to focus on the narrative without facing demanding combat challenges. But for those who enjoy a true challenge, one question remains: Can you master your reactions and complete the entire game without taking a single hit?
