changedHi guys! In this update, we have made the following additions and improvements to the game:
addedNew monster: Rock Worm The Rock Worm is a giant underground monster that wriggles through deep caves. It is good at launching a sneak attack on defenseless passers, swallowing them, and then quickly retracts into the shelter of rocks. It will replace the (Two-headed) Hell Hound as the new area keeper for some areas in Chapter 2: Gloomy Cave. Additionally, the Rock Worm will also temporarily serve as the area keeper for the graveyard and rainforest chapters. We will gradually design such unique regional guards for subsequent chapters that fit the chapter's features better.
changedAdventure mode: Tower structure adjusted We expanded the original 5 areas per chapter to 6 or 7 areas. This will further reduce the monster density and thus the difficulty of the game. The total number of monsters has not changed.
addedAdventure mode: new chapter dialogue Now, there is an NPC at the beginning of each chapter, and the player can choose to talk to him/her. In some chapters, special mechanisms might be triggered after such dialogues. For example, chapter 2: You will get 2 blasting detonators at the end of the dialogue; Chapter 7: You can get several ally reinforcements after the dialogue.
changedBalance Update The bosses of all the chapters have increased their hitpoints by 200 to 400.
changedVisual Interface Improve We optimized the layout of the Herobook, making the representation more tidy and user-friendly. The task panel has been moved from the index page to the chapter-selection page.

  6. Other Fixed some bugs which might occur in endless mode. Improved some sound effects and character's voices. Optimized the efficiency of the program, which should alleviate the previous problem of too low frame rate.
