Devlog #5: Conspiracy and Revival of Velesgard’s Power

After deactivating the Ibis Corvum amulet, some of the kingdoms of Terra Inflaria benefited greatly, while others lost a lot. The realms that had previously invested in the development of technology and science began to earn a lot of money from technological innovations. Those that had chosen to develop magic instead, started losing their importance quickly. The kingdoms of Somirland and Velesgard were the ones that suffered the most. In 1639, during the period of military and technological exchange, they were invaded by the Skiffs, a tribe of nomads from the North. The defense war lasted five years until 1644. The kingdoms managed to repel the attack, but were so devastated that they fell into economic stagnation. The players enter the game world in 1695, which is a crucial year for Terra Inflaria. King Mark III Kaizen of Velesgard, whose kingdom has become immensely indebted, decides to rebuild its military and economic power.
