KingSim changes
Finally, I'm ready to announce that I've finished the story design of the first Major Update!
All storylines are neatly prototyped and stored using Miro. When all of the dialogues and player choices are done, now it is required of me to put all of that into my game engine. This may take a while, but the biggest milestone was passed! ːsteamhappyː
In the coming update you will see:
New story events! With different choices to make, new outcomes to see, and new ways to die! *oops*
Game+ mode! Special new events that will appear after the "End Game" button appearance. They will make it more fun to conquer the world or make a peace with other nations.
New Characters! Some of which were inspired by West-European, Eastern, and Slavik myths & tales.
New gameplay features! Like citizens walking in your town and town investment menu.
Small UI improvements. I plan to tweak some of the menus to make the UI more interesting.
This update is taking me longer than expected. I think I've been a bit burned out after the game release which affected my productivity. But since I'm mostly a solo gamedev, I kindly ask you to be patient. I think I've fully recovered and now I'm working with maximum efficiency.
I expect this update to launch in early 2021.
