Kingdoms of Myth changes
On Kingdoms of Myth we are very proud to showcase the incredible amount of 100 different factions, each of them totally personalized, with their unique units, buildings, technologies and skills. Nevertheless, during the last discussions within the development team, we reach the conclusion that it is true that we have 100 factions, but there were three that were not playable. They could be controlled only by the CPU in the history mode. For that reason we decided to make a last expansion of factions to reach that magic number, but with playable factions. After studying the different possibilities (we have so many options in mind!) we reach the conclusion that the Indian Faction will be the perfect addition to the game. There are several reasons for that:
We received a lot of interest from Indian players in our publications
It will make a lot of sense from the Campaign and History Mode point of view. Who wants to see Alexander the Great facing Indian armies?
While envisioning the faction it came out to be extremely funny!
What Is the Indian faction going to look like?
Kingdoms of Myth will take as reference the ancient Maurya Empire (the first Indian unified kingdom, 322 BCE - 184 BCE). Indians are going to depict a very exotic army. With Chakram throwers, Urumi warriors (below picture), naked ascetic and powerful elephants!
We cannot wait to start sharing with you the mechanics of that amazing and exotic faction!
How the Indian faction is going to sound?
As well, we are glad to announce that the amazing RobFeb from Keep The Focus has created an Indian Theme for the faction. You can see a small teaser of the theme here.
Release date update?
Due to the recent changes of scope and for being able to release a product of the quality that we desire. The release date of the game has been moved to the 31 of July. Sorry for the inconveniences, just wait a bit more!
