addedNope! It's a brand-new game, complete with an original campaign, new enemy factions, mechanics, and story. Classic Rush is a special extra game mode that brings back the four iconic original tower lines, their spells, and a single hero to tackle every stage of the campaign.

addedNot at all! Classic Mode is one of 5 distinct game modes across the stages (alongside Iron Challenge, Blitz Challenge, Hero Party, and Spell Rush). The fresh new towers we've shown you are still there for the main Genesis campaign and every other mode.

addedJust like the old days: 1 Hero, and the classic spell combo of Rain of Fire and Reinforcements. Unlike the old days, you can pick any hero from the roster, which includes Gerald, Malik, Bolin, Ignus, and others who are all returning from the past, but also fresh new heroes.

Is Kingdom Rush Genesis a remake of the original Kingdom Rush?

Nope! It's a brand-new game, complete with an original campaign, new enemy factions, mechanics, and story. Classic Rush is a special extra game mode that brings back the four iconic original tower lines, their spells, and a single hero to tackle every stage of the campaign.

Does this mean the new towers in Genesis go away?

Not at all! Classic Mode is one of 5 distinct game modes across the stages (alongside Iron Challenge, Blitz Challenge, Hero Party, and Spell Rush). The fresh new towers we've shown you are still there for the main Genesis campaign and every other mode.

Are you re-using the original 2011 graphics and assets?

We stayed strictly faithful to the original designs you know and love, but every asset, tower level, and animation was rebuilt from scratch to fit seamlessly into Genesis' visuals.

Which spells and hero limits apply in Classic Mode?

Just like the old days: 1 Hero, and the classic spell combo of Rain of Fire and Reinforcements. Unlike the old days, you can pick any hero from the roster, which includes Gerald, Malik, Bolin, Ignus, and others who are all returning from the past, but also fresh new heroes.
