In the serene realm of Celestia, an age of peace endures. Generations ago, the Twelve Crowns Alliance was formed. They were a coalition of luminous and noble kingdoms that ended the great wars and cast the realm’s ancient evils into the deep. What followed was not conquest, but renaissance: shared knowledge, rebuilt cities, and a golden era where swords were sheathed and armies disbanded.
Heroes who once shaped battlefields now shape culture. Retired warriors represent their homelands not through war, but in grand tournaments of strength. The realms greatest minds engaged in duels of art, poetry, and ingenuity. Rivalry exists, but only to inspire greatness, not spill blood. The union is strong, peaceful, and unchallenged..... until now.
Decades of exile have changed the darkness. In the four unreachable corners of Celestia, four tyrannical powers have been re-forged in secret. Hidden beneath sandy wastes, mountainous rifts, storm-shrouded forests, and poisonous swamps, their unseen capitals have become fortresses of hate and factories of war.
They harvested resources in silence.
They bred and built armies in shadow.
They taught their people that betrayal, vengeance, and domination are destiny.
Now they rise not as scattered cults, but as four ruthless underground empires. Each one convinced they alone deserve to inherit the world above.
You play as one of these four despotic kingdoms:
Circle of the Devouring Bloom – Those who seek to restore nature as the ruling force.
Veil of the Ebon Eye – Zealots whose religion enslaves the weak to serve the strong.
Order of the Zylemagi – Architects of magic and controlling the minds of all those of lessor status.
Nieumarli of the Nether – An undead arm led by a hateful lich looking to rid the realm of life.
The Goal:
Conquer the bastions of good and bring the light to its knees.
Outpace rival evil kingdoms, because there is only one ruler of the realm.
Claim the surface in a 15-year campaign of domination, where the greatest threat to your empire may be the enemy you once shared darkness with.
