King of the Dwarves: Underground City Builder changes
Greetings, Dwarven Kings!
Thank you for playing King of the Dwarves! We are extremely happy to see that the Demo is seeing a positive reception on Steam and that there was a peak of 391 players upon its launch. Having said that, we are aware of the issues that the Demo is facing. We have read all your reviews, community threads, and surveys. This Update addresses the biggest issues that you reported and the ones that were reported most often. New Translations are now available, too!
Changelog
Added translations: German, French, Spanish, Polish, Russian, Chinese.
Added "balance" icon to Knowledge Point balance number in top bar.
Added hotkey ["2"] for demolish structure tool.
Added button with a link to our Discord server.
Increased the amount of Solid Rock in the mountain.
Increased Brewery production. One Brewery should now make enough beer for 50+ dwarves.
Increased max zoom-in a bit and let rotation "down" to the horizon a bit more.
Changed how dwarves switch from drinking to eating to drinking behaviours. Now they drink/eat until satisfied except when the other need is critical. This should reduce the walking from one storage to another.
Updated eat and drink sound effects. They have been significantly toned down.
Updated Miners to come back to dig the same voxel that they were digging before going to store goods.
Updated carpets a bit (a shorter end and a better L shape).
Updated Music to not start that loud when going to the main menu now.
Updated and clarified information that to increase Knowledge, one needs to build more Studies. Also added a notification saying that max Knowledge capacity is reached.
Fixed situations where dwarves would be "stuck" in place while walking.
Fixed rare situations where building Stone Wall Block near the world boundary would end up not showing that block and causing screen flickering. The old save files with this issue will remain the same and require starting a new game. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Fixed bug reporter description field to allow more than one line.
Fixed a rare case where the enemy at the end would not go towards the mountain.

We have received a lot of questions about the Discord server. While the previous announcement was updated with the URL, it seems like it was too late for many people to notice. So if you are reading about this for the first time, please feel invited to join our community on Discord!
Launch Date
Thank you once again for playing our game. It means the world to us! We are extremely happy that after all those long years of development, the game is finally coming together and is playable for you all. Having said that, some of you are asking us about the launch date or if the game is going to change much before release.
To be fully transparent with you - we still consider King of the Dwarves to be a game in a relatively early stage in the development cycle. Somewhere around the Pre-Alpha stage. This means that we are nowhere near the release of the game and that it won't be publishing the game this year.
We still want to improve several aspects of the game, like Mountain Exploration and Combat. We want to add new events, new buildings, new resources, and many other things. If you want to impact this development, please fill in the in-game survey with your feedback. And if you already did - thank you for doing so. Every single survey means a lot to us!
