KILLER INN changes
Regarding the ongoing “stack issue” that has caused significant inconvenience to many players, we have found a highly suspicious trigger that is likely related to this problem.
We would like to share our current findings at this stage.
Please note that the investigation is still ongoing. However, as this information may help players avoid triggering the issue, we are sharing it as an early notice.
Actions That Are Likely to Cause the Stack Issue
We have confirmed that the stack issue is more likely to occur when the following actions are performed:
Interact with a Decrypt Quest and press [Esc] to cancel back real quick (like right at the moment the minigame starts)
Re-interact with the same Decrypt Quest before the cancellation process has fully completed
👉 At this point, the player is believed to enter an internal “pre-stack state.”
If specific actions (such as looting a corpse) are performed while in this pre-stack state, the stack issue occurs with a high probability.
Repeating steps ① and ② multiple times within a short period further increases the likelihood of the issue occurring.
We will continue investigating the root cause and reproducing the issue internally.
If additional useful information becomes available, we will provide an update as soon as possible.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for the progression-blocking bug caused by this stack issue.
