changedWork, family and health have been keeping me away from game development, but I've finding time here and there to work on different things.
changedI began working on the Dark Queen, animations and attacks. In the original boss battle I had planned, she would have two forms, an older witch and a younger warrior, and I already had a concept for her, and she was going to look in a way that would show the corruption of the obsidian she is using (skin color and overall look). However, I changed it a bit, based on the original idea. She will have two or maybe three forms, and my plan is to make them "overlap" in certain situations. I am not sure what visual effect I will use, so I will have to try different things. This will be her "default" form (still making some adjustments).
changedAnother thing is that I want this one to be "cooler and very end-game-ish" to set it apart from the boss battles you will face up until that point. Since, according to the lore, she is the first "user" of the magical obsidian, but the way she uses it makes her more powerful than the Dolls, and I am looking for ways to show that in the game besides a big health bar and attacks that reduce a lot of HP.
addedAdditionally, I finished work on the gang-bosses, and I am testing it and refining it. They now have a very cool two-on-one attack that I will let you discover when you fight them.

Now I still need to figure out the music part of the game... Unfortunately I don't have money for composers, so I will be following that route, and I won't be using AI-generated music either.
