The new Killer Chambers MEGA-PATCH is live!
It' been some time but there's a lot of new things with this update.
Many of the changes are under the hood for better performance and overall stability, mainly due to the optimisations that were needed on the console versions of KC, so with this patch the game is exactly the same on all platforms.
But there's a relevant change in terms of gameplay too: A complete rework of the patterns for the first two maps, the bosses and the cursed rooms.
We've noticed that some players struggle a bit too much with the difficulty so we loosened up things in the whole first third of the game (this includes all the difficulty levels in each chamber of course).
So now it's a good time to retry that impossible level or boss and get that crown at the end of the game!
NEW STUFF
Re-balanced all the difficulty levels for the first two maps of the game.
Re-balanced the difficulty for the bosses and the cursed rooms.
Optimisations to the input behaviour when using a gamepad (better control and less sensibility weirdness).
Full rework of the particle system (better performance).
Opening any menu in a chamber, including the inventory, will now pause the game.
FIXES
Fixed some issues with Mascarone when using the Rugby Helmet.
General fixes to the effects of some hats and items.
Optimisations in how the sounds work internally (less sound overlapping).
