We saw you drag a body across the ground in total silence, which was either deeply immersive or a glitch. (It was a glitch)

changedWhat's new and improved:NPC damage reactions - Enemies now respond to being hit the way you'd expect something alive to respond. They feel it.
changedWhat's new and improved:Subtitle UI improvements - Cleaner, more readable. You shouldn't have to squint at a Neolithic campfire scene.
changedWhat's new and improved:Improved enemy AI - Na'Ush warriors were occasionally dancing instead of attacking. We were embarrassed. Fixed. Bowmen are also smarter now. You've been warned.

Steam post image

We watched from the shadows.

Events, streamers, players at Nordic Games - we saw everything. We saw you die in ways we didn't intend. We saw confusion where there should have been tension. We saw you drag a body across the ground in total silence, which was either deeply immersive or a glitch. (It was a glitch)

So we went back in. Here's what we fixed.

What's new and improved:

  • NPC damage reactions - Enemies now respond to being hit the way you'd expect something alive to respond. They feel it.

  • Credits - Yes, finally. The people who built this world have names.

  • Hints and lore during loading screens and death - You will die. You already know this. Now something useful happens while you wait.

  • Subtitle UI improvements - Cleaner, more readable. You shouldn't have to squint at a Neolithic campfire scene.

  • Improved enemy AI - Na'Ush warriors were occasionally dancing instead of attacking. We were embarrassed. Fixed. Bowmen are also smarter now. You've been warned.

  • Inventory bug fix on loading - sometimes you loaded in holding two weapons. Sometimes nothing. Neither is ideal when something is trying to hunt you.

  • Sound bug fix when dragging bodies - The silence was unsettling. It's been corrected. Dragging is now as unpleasant as it should be.

  • Subtitle UI bug after restart - Fixed. Restart all you like.

  • Other bug fixes - The kind that don't get headlines but matter.

The demo is still brutal. That's intentional. But now it's brutal on our terms, not because something broke.

Thank you for playing, for streaming, and for dying loudly enough that we could hear it. And write reviews!
