  • Modern Mode

    • The Skill Reset button is now always shown in the menu, with a message explaining you can only use it in the overworld.

    • Energy Barrage: Energetic Casting now makes the damage ramp up by 2% per 'shot', up to 300%, until you stop firing.

    • Otto Siko: No longer fires off seekers when you fail to cast Armageddon, during Armageddon, with the Mana Gettin' skill.

    • Fixed falling in water with exactly 10 life left breaking the game.

    • Chapter 1

      • Beginnerton: The villager who explains how to cast spells now has a modern explanation of it, instead of repeating his classic speech.

      • Beginnerton: You can no longer shoot the shootable target from inside the house.

      • Beginnerton: The shootable wall no longer looks the same as the pushable wall.

    • Chapter 2

      • Mush-Aid: The button that you step on, and enemies can't, now looks different from the ones for enemies.

      • Spiders' Lair: the ghost spitter can no longer be killed, and cannot reach the skill shard.

      • The Hidden Temple: The entry puzzle is now 1/3 solved for you, very modern!

      • Haunted Woods: all spells cost 1 now when they are blocked by ghosts, so you don't have to watch which spell you are using.

    • Chapter 3

      • The Gatehousefixed a single bad tile that was impassable for no reason.
      • The Guest Chambers: You can now exit The Skeletal Path multiple times.

      • The Vault: Enemies can no longer trigger switches, which made it difficult to complete.

      • Twisty Passages, All Alike: It is no longer possible for the spikey sign to go weird and cause a hole to appear in a wall.

      • Hot To Go: Shooting Peeping Bombs no longer resets your position.

      • Hot To Go: The trigger area for feeding a villager is now bigger, so you can't skip past it using Berserk.

      • Hot To Go: Prevented collectibles from spawning in unreachable areas.

    • Chapter 4

      • Horkboxes (and possibly elsewhere)Changed how you are repositioned after triggering a speech dialog, fixing an infinite conversation.
  • Classic Mode

    • Mush-AidAdded the 'soft lock protection' similar to Modern Mode.
    • Surprise guest monsters have returned to Classic Mode.

  • 1999 Mode

    • You can no longer burn down trees, since you couldn't do that in 1999.

    • The Vault: Giving Up after getting the spell no longer prevents you from re-entering.

  • Challenge Mode

    • Earning Challenge mode is now possible by getting 100% in any mode, not just Modern mode.

    • Swamp Stew: You no longer earn the star for good cooking if you fail for technical reasons.
