changedWell, the calendar says August, and KARA still is not out!We genuinely wanted to release the game in July, as promised. Unfortunately, Steam’s review process has taken much longer than we expected. Everything on our end is ready: the build has been uploaded, all requested changes have been made, and the store page has been approved. Right now, we are only waiting for Steam to complete the second review. We are not announcing another exact date yet. After what happened, we do not want to make another promise that depends on something outside our control. That said, this is not a major delay and the game does not require additional development. As soon as Steam gives us the green light, we will announce the release.

addedWe have not been sitting aroundadd a dedicated Streamer Mode .
addedWe have not been sitting aroundThe new mode censors parts of the voice-over and replaces some of the harsher lines with safer alternatives. It is intended for anyone planning to play the game on Twitch or YouTube without risking trouble over a few particular words. The original version of the game is not going anywhere, of course. Streamer Mode is entirely optional and can be enabled separately in the settings. Thank you to everyone who is still waiting. We are also tired of staring at a release button we are not allowed to press yet. KARA is ready. We are almost there.

UPD: The game has been approved!
What a timing: just a few hours after this announcement was published, Steam completed the review. KARA releases today, August 1, at 7:00 PM Moscow time / 4:00 PM UTC. See you very soon.

We have not been sitting around
While waiting for the review, we went through the game once again and managed to:
fix several additional bugs;
perform another round of final build testing;
add a dedicated Streamer Mode.
The new mode censors parts of the voice-over and replaces some of the harsher lines with safer alternatives. It is intended for anyone planning to play the game on Twitch or YouTube without risking trouble over a few particular words. The original version of the game is not going anywhere, of course. Streamer Mode is entirely optional and can be enabled separately in the settings. Thank you to everyone who is still waiting.
