Save the World. Start a Lemur Band. Easy.

Sometimes saving the world means answering a noble call.

And sometimes, it means piling a crew of chaotic lemur musicians into a rusty bush-taxi, grabbing a frying pan, and trying to stop an evil witch by crashing the giant concert she threw for herself.

That second option is Kalanoro, our very first game at Red Raketa Studio, and we’re thrilled to reveal that it will be coming to Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch in Summer 2026.

Welcome to Lemuria, a vibrant island inspired by Malagasy folklore, once a paradise… now under the rule of the eccentric and dangerous witch Raneny. Her latest idea? A giant concert celebrating her own glory.

You play as Kalakely, and because of a very questionable prophecy, you embark on a quest to stop her. For that, you’ll need to do the unthinkable: builda band, grow your fanbase, and get close enough to crash her final show.

It is, objectively, a terrible plan.

Which is exactly why it might work.

Fast, Scrappy, Delightfully Messy Combat

Kalakely is quick, agile, and always moving, and combat follows that same energy.

Fight using whatever you can find: slippers, frying pans, road signs, hammers… Nothing lasts forever, so every fight becomes reactive, fast, and a little messy... in the best way.

This is what we like to call the joyful chaos of our game.

Kalakely has also the coolest of powers: hair-based powers. Pull enemies and close gaps with your Hairpoon, shock foes with electric bursts, turn enemies against each other by blindsiding them in pure chaos. These abilities also reshape how you explore, solve puzzles, and navigate hazards.

Van Life

Between missions, your bush-taxi becomes your moving home base.

Manage your band, cook meals, keep morale high, and prepare for the next stop on your tour. It’s a chance to breathe, regroup, and prepare before throwing yourself back into the next wonderfully bad idea.

From Madagascar, with a lot of love (and coffee)

Kalanoro is a handcrafted indie adventure filled with humor, energy, and heart. It's a game about momentum, creativity, and wonderfully bad ideas that somehow work. It is shaped by the stories, the energy, and the artistic inspiration of our beautiful island, Madagascar.

Lemuria is a playful, colorful world with its own identity, full of movement, character, and heart. Our team at Red Raketa Studio has built it with all the love and affection we have for our culture and folklore.

It is a game about adventure, collective energy and joyful rebellion.

Also lemurs.

A lot of lemurs.

Try our demo

Want a first taste of the chaos? Good news: our demo is available now and lets you play through Kalanoro’s first levels for an early glimpse of the adventure.
