addedWelcome to The Song of Eternal Ice ❄️—where fauns guard ancient melodies, labyrinths bury forgotten secrets, and the coldest lands call you forward in search of answers, rewards, and new adventures.
changedThis is the first expansion of 2026 for Kakele, built from the ground up with the community. Since Gangan, we’ve gathered feedback through surveys and polls, and shaped this update around what players truly asked for: smoother gameplay, clearer information, better usability, and more comfort during long hunts and intense fights.
addedCombat and PvP are now cleaner and more intentional. The Battle List has been fully redesigned to be easier to read and more organized, with filters that help you instantly understand who’s nearby and what effects are active. PvP visuals have been refined to reduce screen clutter, and encounters are less prone to accidents thanks to protection that prevents unintended attacks on players who don’t have PvP enabled. Core PvP rules and damage behavior have also been rebalanced to feel fairer, clearer, and more predictable.
addedProgression and endgame goals have been expanded with new systems and events. The world can now be shaken by meteors that introduce a new path for high-level crafting and upgrades, while the Prey system becomes more forgiving and less repetitive. A new addon currency and a new raid boss also bring a fresh chase for cosmetics and customization, making rewards feel more consistent and exciting.
addedExploration and navigation are sharper than ever. The minimap has been completely revamped with improved clarity and richer detail, and new marker options help you track what matters. You can also see party member positions directly on the minimap, along with clearer event locations and dates, so it’s easier to meet up and jump into action.
changedQuality-of-life improvements are everywhere. Smart Hotkeys let you do more with less UI clutter, equipment presets make swapping builds effortless, and key interface windows now behave better and feel more responsive. You can log in across devices more smoothly, mute certain notifications, and enjoy dozens of small improvements that make the game feel lighter, faster, and more pleasant.
