Dear steam users..

It's been a while since the last update, a lot has been updated, changed, removed, modified, scrapped, re-worked, changed again.. but the game is not dead! I know a lot of people are frustrated that the game has not been released yet and I can understand that, however, the goal with the game was never to release a quickly hacked-together early access game that is barely playable.

Timeframe

Developing games take time, a lot of time, more time than I had anticipated when the release date was set to 2018. A lot of this has to do with the fact I stated above, I don't want to release as quickly as possible. And the release of Just Us will not see the light of day until it's ready. There is currently no time frame, it solely depends on how well the internal testing goes, as you can read down below.

Lack of updates

One of the reason for the lack of updates is that a lot of work that has been done is not visual things. What you've been seeing in videos and screenshots was from a concept game that was far from being ready for the public, there is a huge difference between a concept and a consumer ready game.

The current state

Internal testing of the game has begun, the testing is divided up into modules or testing phases where we test different areas of the game. Instead of releasing a full scale alpha, we can test smaller portions of the game, fine-tuning each system as we move on to the next. When we've worked through each of the systems and determined that they are stable and working as intended, there will be a broader and more public testing phase of the game, before the release of early access. https://www.facebook.com/justusgame/ https://twitter.com/dryeeldev https://justusgame.com/
