This week, we're pushing an important update to the Demo build: Private Matches! This has been something we've been working on for the last few weeks, and in light of feedback received during Next Fest, we decided to prioritize the feature, rather than wait for a larger multiplayer update we have planned for the fall.

The Private Match feature allows players to create 1v1 lobbies to challenge their friends directly, rather than using the regular Online PVP queue. Here's how it works:

  1. On the main menu, players now have a 'Private Match' button. Selecting this will open the Private Match sub menu.

  2. Once the host (Player 1) selects the Private Match menu, they are given the option to create a Private Lobby.

  3. The Private Lobby will automatically generate a five-digit, alphanumeric code that can be given out to a second player to join.

  4. The Client (Player 2) can then enter the Private Match menu and enter the 5-digit code to join the lobby. Note: these codes are NOT case sensitive.

  5. Once the challenger joins the lobby, everything functions identical to a normal PVP match.

And that's it! it's now easier than ever to challenge your friends to a few rounds in your favorite arena!

As always, our team wants to know how new features and updates feel to our community, so please submit feedback via the link in the Main Menu. Until next time!
