changedSpell ArchivesAs you navigate through each region, you may stumble upon the mysterious Spell Archives - an ancient chamber filled with unique tomes that can be purchased with your hard earned gold.
addedSpell ArchivesEach time you visit the Archives, you will be given the choice of three spells unique to the current region. Spells are powerful add-ons that become linked to whichever fighter you give it to, enhancing its powers in battle. But be careful - many spells come with a significant side effect that you'll need to account for as you build your squad.
addedSpell ArchivesHere are some examples of the new Spells you may encounter on your Journey!
changedWar SurgeWar Surge is a shining example of gaining some stats at the expense of another. This defensive spell only triggers once per battle, but give a nice boost of ARMOR when it goes go off. But watch out - your fighter's SPEED stat will drop as well! Probably best to use on something that doesn't mind attacking last, or that wants just a little more time to set up for a big attack.
removedInfernal PactSimilar to the one above, Infernal Pact is also a double-edged sword! Immediately gain some extra survivability by boosting a unit's Hit Points (HP), but the "victim" will also become Poisoned as a result! Maybe try to stick it on a fighter that can take advantage of being Poisoned, or with a Lyonar champion equipped with "Cleansing Strike" to remove the poison before it even does any damage.

Cyclone Mask

Have a fighter that needs just a little extra speed in order to make it really dangerous? Experiment with giving it the Cyclone Mask for that bump in initiative! Just be prepared for the additional damage to your other fighters each time it attacks! Combo with an ally that likes being damaged, or keep your team size small to limit the negative effect of this Spell.
