changedThe PlayBlok Update Has Arrived! After a protracted strenuous struggle with the Unity engine I prevailed, conquerering the beast that challenged me.
changedWhats new? PlayBloks (Varying building-block interactbles) and accompanying structures have been scattered around Jank Cube. Where can you find them I hear you ask, well dear reader let me tell you. Map 1: A new area is available for access in the top floor of Map 1, where previously years ago was a race car track now is a sprawling open arena of PlayBloks and PlayBlok structures for you to play with. Walls encase a fortress of towers made all with physics interactables, completely destructible.
addedMap 2: A small complex of smaller towers stand in the top left corner of Map 2, spawnable if you so choose, with a new floor texture to accompany it. All are fully physics and can be torn down if you feel so devious.
changedMap 3: Repurposing the space where previously was another race track is now a grand open fortress of PlayBloks. Towering skyscrapers stand hundreds of feet in the air, looming above you, accompanied by a number of smaller towers and structures for you to interact with as you see fit.
addedPlayBloks have also been sprinkled into secret maps! Map 6: PlayBloks have been added to the empty area beside the escalator area, since that part felt empty, just sprinkled some in for funsies. Map 8: The complex from map 2 is mirrored in Map 8, as you'd expect.
removedTheres also been some improvements to story elements I meant to do with the previous update but didnt get around to, spoilers ahead if you haven't already experienced the story: -Andrew's corpse now shows up in Map 1 after completing Map 5 -Andrew's corpse no longer shows up in Map 4 until you've completed Map 5 -Andrew's spawners in the various maps no longer appear until you've completed Map 5 -The Secret Menu section and button of the player menu now appear once you complete Map 5, because I found most people didn't find or press the button to go back to the secret menu and that didn't really make sense anyway.

The PlayBloks are a great way to build structures of your own imagination within Jank Cube. Build a house, build the stonehenge, build nothing, build a staircase to the moon itself, its all up to you. You can even just destroy the existing PlayBlok structures, I'm not gonna stop you. The PlayBloks also combine perfectly with existing tools! Try dropping a grenade at the base of one of the towers and watching it drop, or slap the walls of one of the fortresses with a table with the GMD, go wild with it.

PlayBloks have also been sprinkled into secret maps!

Map 6

PlayBloks have been added to the empty area beside the escalator area, since that part felt empty, just sprinkled some in for funsies.

Map 8

The complex from map 2 is mirrored in Map 8, as you'd expect.

The PlayBloks definitely expose a need for more player mobility, which will likely be the next update. It feels like I'm forever saying it but I apologize for the delay but I was experiencing a project corruption which plagued me for weeks and I just yesterday overcame it.

Theres also been some improvements to story elements I meant to do with the previous update but didnt get around to, spoilers ahead if you haven't already experienced the story: -Andrew's corpse now shows up in Map 1 after completing Map 5 -Andrew's corpse no longer shows up in Map 4 until you've completed Map 5 -Andrew's spawners in the various maps no longer appear until you've completed Map 5 -The Secret Menu section and button of the player menu now appear once you complete Map 5, because I found most people didn't find or press the button to go back to the secret menu and that didn't really make sense anyway.

Glad to be able to get back to work after that bug, and as always a huge thanks goes out to my testers and personal friends who have accompanied me through the journey that progressed over the past 2 weeks, and of course to all my Jankers. I hope you all enjoy this update as much as I did during testing lol.
