What changed

0 fixes5 additions0 changes0 removals
  • Gameplay
  • Maps
  • Balance
addedProgressionAt the beginning of the game, you'll get the power to plow earth. Your blowpipe will gain new abilities very quickly
addedProgressionYour short term goal will be to awake planets with specific biomes by plowing and sculpting the ground. Then, grass, plants and trees are awaking and their seeds are popping up from the ground. Finally, you'll have to tame newly born wild animals. Giving life to the planets make them a fantastic place where to play. Each biomes will show specific properties that will challenge you in providing new species.
addedProgressionMedium term objectives will consist in collecting new pipes to get more creative and expressive ways to play the game, to collect complex plants which have special zany abilities, to gain more experience points thus getting more powerful pipes, to discover many new systems and biomes, to create and to arrange the places you'll make your home from. Sometimes, you'll meet some non player character that'll help you progressing and will add some poetry to your trip, like in "The little prince" by St Exupéry
addedProgressionThe long term goal is to reach a meta asynchronous multiplayer objective; the more systems the players create life in, the more all the players have a chance to discover new galaxies and unlock them, somehow as in the Nobi Nobi Boy game. Basically, the game aims at becoming a multiplayers one, for playing together with partners is much fun! As the game is your private and exotic garden, you'll be keen on shaping it your way and making it evolve with your friends.
addedProgressionActually, I'm alone on the project, my teammate needing some rest and we still don't have funding for more dev power. But I'll keep working on it to create a new kind of Katamari style game!

Hi there! Last day of the Steam Game Festival and we haven't pitched our game yet! So here we are!

The 360° exhilarating gardening game in space!

Here is our last project, Janga. This game was initially made for the 2019 A.Maze festival game jam. We decided to keep working on it as the mechanics and mood were very promising.

We have been nominated for the 2019 Game Connection Europe Indies and we just received an honorable mention at A.Maze 2020.

We are still in a prototyping phase, but we need to get some funding in order to continue working on it.

Story

Some planets and systems in the universe have been forgotten by creation, they are blank canvas. You are a Sower, a little being whose purpose is to grow life and bring joy. Your goals are to awaken those neglected places with the help of a super powerful tool: a blowpipe!

Progression

At the beginning of the game, you'll get the power to plow earth. Your blowpipe will gain new abilities very quickly

Your short term goal will be to awake planets with specific biomes by plowing and sculpting the ground. Then, grass, plants and trees are awaking and their seeds are popping up from the ground. Finally, you'll have to tame newly born wild animals. Giving life to the planets make them a fantastic place where to play. Each biomes will show specific properties that will challenge you in providing new species.

Medium term objectives will consist in collecting new pipes to get more creative and expressive ways to play the game, to collect complex plants which have special zany abilities, to gain more experience points thus getting more powerful pipes, to discover many new systems and biomes, to create and to arrange the places you'll make your home from. Sometimes, you'll meet some non player character that'll help you progressing and will add some poetry to your trip, like in "The little prince" by St Exupéry

The long term goal is to reach a meta asynchronous multiplayer objective; the more systems the players create life in, the more all the players have a chance to discover new galaxies and unlock them, somehow as in the Nobi Nobi Boy game. Basically, the game aims at becoming a multiplayers one, for playing together with partners is much fun! As the game is your private and exotic garden, you'll be keen on shaping it your way and making it evolve with your friends.

Actually, I'm alone on the project, my teammate needing some rest and we still don't have funding for more dev power. But I'll keep working on it to create a new kind of Katamari style game!
