Repeated intro
Hello guys! JamG is back with more cool stuff, getting closer to the look and feel you deserve ^^ The latest patch includes:
- smoother textures on several models
- music!
Yeeey! :) - a nice vista with clouds and a beautiful sunset/sunrise (you can pick your favourite, it works both ways since it's only in your head) - a calm ocean stretches under the platforms - the killzone is visible now, which helps measuring up your distance from it and the space you can move in - new marble texture - changes had been made to the maps to improve smooth playability - improved respawn system for your delight (a major step towards multiplayer compatibility) - new difficulty settings: "Hard" (removed checkpoints) and "Dark Souls" What features do we plan in the future? (Not necessarily in this order) - sound effects - a nice splash when something falls into the water - coop gameplay with maps designed for two player fun - multiplayer modes - new single player, coop and multi maps - skin selection, so you can play as a football, lead balloon, orange, planet, etc - accessories like a fancy monocle, bunny ears, hats, or whatever your hearts desire - model and skin workshop, so you can make and share your own creations - free look camera - leaderboards - controller support Level editor is a big maybe for now. We would really love to add it, but for that we need to find and kill a bug which makes level editing very clumsy at the moment. As usual, please keep in mind that the game is still in alpha, lots of assets are still placeholders and may change in the future. Bugs currently under termination: - music stops at the end of levels (the game pauses) - faulty lighting at some places - at the end of the levels, you have to doubleclick on the buttons - FPS might drop when new objects spawn - when you respawn, music sometimes stops for fraction of a second Thanks and have fun playing! ^^
