Isle of the Crown changes
After working on a few concepts and designs, I am happy to announce a few updates for the art, mechanics that are changing due to the art, and even the maps, which is also changing because of the art. (Though, I have been wanting to change some of these mechanics already, so I am also using these art updates to help move that along)
A few things to keep in mind with these updates however:
- This art will take some time to add- not long, but I will need to change a bit of code to make it work with both the new designs and to make it all cohesive.
- I MAY pause some of these art updates for a little bit to further look into putting online-play into the game. Since I will have to mess with the code for these updates, it seems as good a time as any to look into working in the networking code. If I do end up looking into the networking however, I am sure much more time will need to be taken before applying these art updates.
- With the code changes and mechanics changing, there MAY need to be a few changes to how you play. So, as a preemptive warning. SOME, not all, but SOME of the gameplay will change. But it will be for the better.
