Isle of Food changes
Dear players, thank you to all for playtesting. In just a few days, many bugs were identified and fixed. We have re-uploaded the build for further testing. Please delete the old game and download the new version with the bugs fixed.
Main changes:
Eggs and their spawn have been added.
Chickens (not roosters) can now be stunned with a slingshot and caught. If you bring them to our farm (into the pen) and release them, they will become domesticated. This will unlock one nest in the chicken coop. You can bring a total of 4 chickens. If you bring more, they will run away. Domestic chickens can still be killed or taken outside the farm, in which case you lose the nest. Everything already works with saves.
We have removed collisions on weapons - now they do not collide.
We have fixed the bow - it now lags less often.
The quiver and bag of stones can no longer be removed by hand.
The shovel no longer attaches itself, but falls to the ground.
The ‘Play sitting down’ setting has appeared in the menu - it raises you to a height as if you were standing.
When ‘Play sitting down’ is enabled, the ‘Attract objects’ function is automatically enabled (it can be enabled and disabled separately).
This allows you to point your hand towards objects and grab them from a distance. This works with ingredients, dishes, kitchen utensils, shovels, and books — anything that can theoretically fall.
Bug Fixes:
Camera collision - it is now impossible to see through the mesh.
Animals will avoid moving through bushes.
The music at the start is quieter.
Objects do not fly away when pulled.
Objects cannot be pulled through the oven.
Lettuce has been fixed - pulling unripe lettuce has been fixed.
Trembling, sound, and vibration when selecting objects removed - target added, trace angle changed.
Decorations that cannot be used have been removed.
The backpack shows its capacity.
Lower level backpacks are now unavailable.
Fixed a bug where you could buy a backpack, call it up in the menu, and then take it on the printer. Now all backpacks except the active one are destroyed.
Fixed a bug where ingredients taken from the backpack were not counted. (At some point, it stopped accepting new ingredients.).
Increased backpack capacity - 15 \\ 30 \\ 50.
The chance of animals spawning has been reduced from 7 to 5.
The icon in the inventory with binoculars has been changed to a book with a shovel.
Fixed bugs with the backpack.
Fixed hand sticking near the cutting board.
Ingredients cut on the cutting board disappearing.
Knife attraction.
Now ingredients are attracted without physics (and do not collide along the way).
You cannot take/attract an ingredient being cooked on the grill.
