You spoke, we listened - Try the new updated demo!

Welcome back ISLANDERS fans to a fresh updated demo! We took all of your feedback onboard from the 1st demo, and the devs have made multiple changes we think you’ll be pleased to see implemented into the new demo.

The demo is remaining open until ISLANDERS: New Shores releases (Summer 2025), keep your eyes peeled for exciting news coming soon…

So, what has changed in the updated demo? Balancing Adjustments:

• AdjustedFortune TellerScore per building reduced from 3 → 2
• AdjustedAviaryMax score increased from 100 → 125
• AdjustedLumberjackPenalty adjusted from -5 → -4
• AdjustedBargainCount reduced from 2 → 1; penalty increased from 4 → 5

• Score Multiplier: 0.5 → 0.6

• Reroll Charges: 4 → 5

• AdjustedWispScore lowered from 5 → 4
• AdjustedNature InteractionIncreased from 2.5 → 3 score

UX/UI & Visual Adjustments:

• Replaced icon-based tooltips with default text (a highly requested change!)

• Slight UI color tweaks to improve score preview visibility

• Adjusted tint color to reduce confusion during illegal building placements

• Improved wall platform placement for smoother gameplay

• General polish and bug fixes

Demo Specific Updates

• New island variations

• Larger islands

• Slightly extended gameplay (still limited to 3 islands!)

• New “Duplicate” boon introduced, replacing “Bargain”

• 4 new buildings:

  • Temple
  • Harbour
  • Verdure
  • Guild Hall

• New gameplay element: - Sacred Rocks
