IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator changes

By order of High Command, several matters require your attention today.
Take part in our community screenshot event during Steam Next Fest.
🎪 Community Event || Operation: Seize the Shot 🎪
Your screenshot. Your name. On the IRON NEST Steam Store page.
Since IRON NEST stands on the strength of its Operators, we decided there is no better place for your work than the official Steam Store page.
That is why, to celebrate Steam Next Fest together with you, High Command has authorized a small Screenshot Operation.
Selected screenshots from this operation will be added to the official IRON NEST Steam Store gallery, with each screenshot credited to the Operator who captured it.
🔻 How to participate / submit your screenshot:
Open the Steam app
In the top-left corner, go to:
Steam > Settings > In Game > Screenshots
Check which key is assigned to "Take a screenshot"
Launch the IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator Demo and make a screenshot
Return to the Steam app
In the top-left corner, go to:
View > Recordings & Screenshots
Click on the screenshot you want to submit > Click Share in the bottom-right corner
Choose Share on Steam
Make sure the visibility is set to Public
Add a caption: IRON NEST Operation: Seize the Shot
Only screenshots with the proper caption will be considered
After publishing, click View on my Profile and you will be redirected to sreenshot page
On the screenshot page, click Share under the image and copy the link
Optional: you may also share the screenshot to your Steam activity feed
Return to this official Steam submission thread and post the link to your screenshot.
Add a short description with your submission. It will also be taken into account by High Command

Once the deadline passes, this submission thread will be sealed and no further screenshots will be accepted by High Command.

In 2 weeks we will review all valid submissions and select 3 winning screenshots.
The winners will be added to the official IRON NEST Steam Store gallery, with each screenshot credited to the Operator who captured it by 05.07.2026.
The winning submissions will also be announced on our official Discord.

High Command’s final decision will be made independently and will not be subject to negotiation. Please keep in mind that for a screenshot to be featured on the main Steam Store page, it must meet a reasonable visual standard. Beyond that, there are no strict rules for creating your entry.

High Command has released "Official Operator Song" forged in honor of the 400,000 Operators who answered the call to mobilization and wishlisted IRON NEST.
Thank you to every one of you who stood at attention and sent your recordings. This transmission was made possible by the salutes of loyal Operators.
🏅 Leaderboard System Briefing🏅
A new leaderboard system has been deployed on our official Discord.
Operators can now check scores, compare results, track their progress, and follow the war effort directly from the proper Discord channel called # ❍・ironnest-leaderboard-notifications.
Available commands:
/leaderboard challenge - Check the current Top 20 scores on the Challenge Mode leaderboard.
/leaderboard chill - check the current Top 20 Operators by total confirmed kills
/leaderboard me - check your own leaderboard
/leaderboard mechill - check your own total confirmed kills
/leaderboard searchchallenge - search another Operator’s Challenge Mode score
/missions mymedals - check your medals
To use /leaderboard me, /leaderboard mechill and /missions mymedals, you first need to connect your account with: /linkaccount. To do this, enter the IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator Demo, then go to: Options → Settings → Leaderboard. At the bottom, you will find your Discord key. Copy it and use it with the /linkaccount command on Discord.

How the leaderboards work:
You need to play 1 mission for your data to be synced after linking accounts.
Challenge is best points in a single run, you must end the mission properly and dismiss newspaper for it to save.
Chill is cumulative points across all runs. You must end the day by sleeping and dismiss the newspaper for it to save.
Earliest score with the same number will be higher. If both Operators score 23 but you did it yesterday and other Operator today, then you will be higher.
This is still the first deployment stage of the system. We will continue improving it, expanding it, and making it more useful over time... so we highly recommend getting familiar with it now.

Challenge leaderboards also generates a GIF of the map from that specific run. You can download it from the leaderboard website or show it directly in # ❍・ironnest-leaderboard-notifications with the proper command.
