I have finally created two new ancestral classes, we have ancestral warrior and the ancestral archer, one better than the other.
When I was thinking about the endgame, I was wondering what I could do to make you want to replay the whole game from a fresh start. But little more enjoyable than before. So I sit down and finish the skill on both warrior and archer, and then throw another bunch of skills or made a better variants with core boosts and this is how the ancestral classes were born. The ancestral char will have the "echoing ancestral footsteps" as a signature to know you are an ancestral and others will see those footsteps too :). The war has better cleave more potential dmg and range :) better auras (even an xp aura !!!) and the cherry on top is ..... The winter grasp (something like the holy freeze aura in D2 :)) But ... go and check it yourself (once you have the Legacy 6 on that particular class..... ehm .... )
The ancestral archer shares the concept of taking the basic skills and making them better, but has also his own unique skill like an ancestral image ... you can create your copy so you can conquer two spots at the same time ... which means ... double xp and loot :D You need the same to unlock it .. Legacy 6 on archer :X. All ancestral classes begins with +6 stat points per lvl :) so you have sort of Legacy 1 from the begining.. and much more :) go and check it yourself :). I have also added the different damage types, we had normal dmg and critical, now we have also divine (from divine weapons) and excellent from excellent weapons :).

NEW
Ancestral Inspiration: proc on crit or mark kill — +10% crit, +15% move speed for 8s to nearby allies (12s cooldown).
Alt (PC) / Command (Mac) + Click on stat buttons allocates all remaining points at once (this one is best :D)
Snipe (Archer T3): 3s windup, 600% weapon DMG single target. Guaranteed crit on marked targets.
Ancestral Snipe (Ancestral Archer T3): 2s windup, 500% weapon DMG — faster but less per-hit than normal Snipe, higher DPS overall.
Eagle Eye (Archer T4): +15% crit chance buff for 10s (30s cooldown).
Rapid Fire (Ancestral Archer T4): +15% crit chance and +30% attack speed for 10s (30s cooldown).
Fire Dash (Ancestral Archer T3): dash with fire trail that ignites Tar Jar puddles. Replaces Wind-Step.
Ignited Tar (T4 passive synergy): ignited Tar Jar puddles deal +50% more DPS than Volley. Gains mastery from fire damage ticks.
Focus Stance (T5 passive): stand still for 5s to gain stacks. +1% DMG per stack (max 10). Ancestral also gets +1% attack speed and range per stack. Moving resets all stacks.
Ancestral Image (Ancestral T7): summon a spectral copy for 30s (30s CD), 50% damage, same multishot as you. Skill shot spawn.
Warrior Auras: Attack Speed Aura (T4), Haste Aura (T4), Party XP Aura (T6, ancestral only). Vitality and Fortress moved to T3.
Ancestral Warrior aura upgrades: Defense +10% DMG reduction, Offense +10% crit, Vitality +30% Max HP, Cleave 15% base to 120% cap with 80–120px range. Ancestral Haste combines atk+move speed.
- Ancestral Warriorunlocked account-wide when any hero reaches Legacy 5; create from character screen (optional checkbox). Higher starting STR/VIT, improved Cleave and Fortress, Winter's Grasp aura (frost damage + slow in a fixed radius). New character only; Mage/Archer ancestral noted as coming soon.
Ancestral Visual Design: unified foot glow and "Ancestral Footsteps" with class-specific colors (Cyan for Warrior, Teal for Archer, Purple for Mage). Replaced orbiting runes and arrows.
Ancestral Warrior Skills: upgraded Charge (250% impact damage), Taunt (600px radius), Brutal Slam (250% damage, 4.5s stun). Fortress stance +40% defense (vs 20% for standard).

FIXED
Ancestral Inspiration: buff now refreshes on each proc (Crit or Mark kill) — no cooldown, duration resets to 8s
Unique items (mob drops + unique armor armory): stats (STR/AGI/VIT/INT) now match what you get — random stat filler no longer overwrites table values.
Mage spells and heals now scale with total Intelligence (base + gear + % all stats), not only allocated stat points.
Unique items: upgraded gear stats and defense/HP use total values; spell requirement checks use same effective stats as combat.
Paddle Crusher and Ancestral Maul unique weapons now apply "Concussion" stun on first hit.
Missing Ancestral Warrior visuals (spectral plume and orbiting runes) when loading character or in multiplayer sessions.
Skill Book: Ancestral Inspiration now shows Trigger (Crit or Mark kill), Crit +10%, Spd +15%, Dur 8s (refresh)
Effect spells/skills now scale with mastery: +1% per level (e.g. 30% base at L10 → 33%)
Hunter's Mark, Eagle Eye, Rapid Fire, Ancestral Inspiration, Focus Stance, Tar Jar slow, Snipe damage all scale with mastery
Ancestral Inspiration: gains mastery on proc, scaled buff broadcast to allies in MP
Skill Book: Wind-Step Dash and Fire Dash now show Effect (dash, clears slows / ignites Tar)
Snipe / Ancestral Snipe: damage now scales with mastery; Skill Book shows effective Dmg
Tar Jar: slow now scales with mastery (50% base, up to 75% cap); Skill Book shows effective slow
- Tar Jardamage reduced to 1/10 — utility/control spell (slow), not damage
- Eagle Eye and Rapid Firecooldown removed (0s, no CD in Skill Book)
Character Stats: Crit Chance now includes Eagle Eye and Rapid Fire buff bonuses (was equipment-only)
Focus Stance buff: tooltip now shows +Spd and +Rng for Ancestral Archer (was DMG only)
- Tar Jar ignitionfixed "Node not found: SpellCaster" and gain_mastery_xp on null (use player.spell_caster)
Tar Jar / Ignited Tar: Archer damage now scales with weapon (raw_attack_damage) instead of INT — was negligible with 800 AGI / 100 INT
Hunter's Mark: damage bonus (+20%/+30%) now correctly applies to marked targets; MP sync so server receives the mark for damage calculation
- Hunter's Markfixed script error (bool/int) that prevented the mark from being applied and visualized above targets
Skill Book header now shows effective AGI (base + equipment) to match Character screen
Skill Book progress bars incorrectly showing empty — now correctly uses exponential scaling for all ranks

Ancestral Image: visual uses caster's actual sprite at 50% transparency with teal/blue tint (matches ancestral footsteps)
Ancestral Image: shoots real arrows in arc, plays idle and attack1/attack2 animations correctly
Ignited Tar visual effect tuned down: fewer fires and intensity, more flickering, less distracting
- Snipe / Ancestral Snipereworked into targeted skill — enemy within 40px of cursor, "Aiming..." progress bar, targeting line during windup, fast purple-glowing arrow projectile
Eagle Eye buff: tooltip now shows "+15% Crit Chance" (was generic "+15% Damage")
Rapid Fire buff: tooltip now shows "+15% Crit, +30% Atk Spd" (was generic "+30% Damage")
Hotbar spell tooltips: Eagle Eye, Rapid Fire, Fire Dash, Snipe, Ancestral Snipe, Ancestral Image, Focus Stance, Ignited Tar now display correct effect text
Ignited Tar damage boosted so DPS is +50% over Volley of the Fallen (raw 0.5/tick, total_raw 5x weapon vs Volley 3x)
- Spell Toweradded T7 tab to show Ancestral Image and other T7 spells (was T1-T6 only)
Eldritch Night-Robe (shaman night unique): defense and night INT/DEF bonuses tuned to match tier-12 uniques
Fire Arrow projectile now uses arrow sprite with burning tip and fire trail instead of generic fireball
- Fire Arrow rebalanced200% weapon damage (was INT-based), available to all Archers (was Ancestral only), moved to T4 (400 AGI / 80 INT)
Hunter's Mark moved from T1 (free) to T2 (90 AGI / 18 INT, 500 gold)
Raging Firestorm (Tar Jar ignited by Fire Arrow) now uses animated fire sprites from Tiny Swords pack
Archer skill requirements now use AGI/INT 5:1 ratio instead of Mage INT table
Skill Book: all Archer skills display AGI requirements alongside spell stats
