Invincible VS changes
With Combo Breaker behind us and our first Evo right around the corner, today we’re announcing our plan to support the future of Invincible VS competition.
Throughout the rest of the year, we’re going to be working directly with a few major offline FGC events and one regular Online Series to raise the stakes for Invincible VS tournaments. More importantly, we want to support the organizers and make it easy for players to support their local scene by partnering with a few locals in key regions.
THE MAJORS: Pot Bonuses + Player Goodies
The major offline events will receive a base prize pool contribution from Skybound of up to $2,000. And for every 64 players that register for Invincible VS at these events, we’ll contribute an additional $500, capped at $2,000.
On top of that, the winners of these majors will take home a customized Conquest Gauntlet, similar to the one we are awarding at Evo 2026.
ONLINE SERIES: Pot Bonuses + In-Game Items
Skybound is also partnering with one North America-based online competitive series for a pot bonus. We will contribute a base $100 for every weekly online tournament (up to 4 a month) and add $100 for every 32 non-disqualified players in each of these tournaments, capped at $200.
NA LOCALS: Promotion + Player Goodies
For this program we are selecting a handful of locals across key regions in North America for direct support in the form of game keys, official promotion, and hooking them up with some exclusive goods for their players.
OUR PARTNERS
Invincible VS comes to VS Fighting XIV, taking place on July 24-26 in the UK. This is the first major stop for our program, and registration ends soon— sign up today!
Keep an eye on Invincible VS social channels for news on the full list of events and series that’ll be included in the Invincible VS competitive support program. For those communities not in our formal program, we’ll make sure to share with our players when, where, and how they can support you. This is phase one, and we dream that this is the road to something bigger.
Consider this our small way of giving back to those that organize and show up to play Invincible VS.
Thanks for playing and competing in Invincible VS. We’ll see you at Evo!
