addedInto the Restless Ruins blends strategic deckbuilding with dungeon crawling, offering players the ability to create their own dungeon using a deck of cards—then auto-battling through the challenges they’ve constructed. Every card played shapes the dungeon’s layout, adds buffs or curses, and affects the outcome of each run.
changedWhat’s in the Demo?Players can experience the core gameplay loop of building and battling through their own dungeon in Eorisdale , the game’s introductory level. The demo includes a limited selection of cards, enemies, and upgrades to give players a solid taste of the game’s strategic depth and replayability. You’ll encounter helpful NPCs like the Hen Wife and the Wulver, who can upgrade your cards and offer powerful boosts. At the end of the level, you’ll face The Grey Man (Am Fear Liath Mòr), a powerful boss drawn from Scottish folklore.
addedWhat’s in the Full Game? The full game expands on this foundation with 116 cards across 7 categories, 6 distinct ruins to explore, and 62 creatures to face, including 6 bosses inspired by Scottish folklore. Players will also discover 40 passive charms to shape their strategy, 38 Cantrips to modify gameplay and increase rewards, and 12 weapons to unlock and master. The deeper you go, the more complex the strategy becomes, with new relics, card synergies, and meta-progression unlocking new ways to conquer the ruins.
changedRequest a Review KeyThanks again to all of you who played the demo, wishlisted, and followed during Steam Next Fest. And especially those of you who passed on feedback (either on the community forums, or using the in-game feedback form) - we've been able to include a bunch of this in the finished game (which you might have heard comes out on May 15th ). So if you were one of the people annoyed by the amount of screenshake during the boss fight, for example, you'll be very happy to know we've tweaked that and also changed the options menu so you can play with 50% screenshake rather than just on or off.

Phew, that all read quite a lot like a press release didn't it? Because it was. But now all of the super important stuff is out of the way (that the game comes out on May 15th) I can be a bit more chatty.
