Into the End (of the World) changes
First of all, a massive THANK YOU to everyone who played our demo during Steam Next Fest! Your incredible feedback, suggestions, and bug reports have been our ultimate fuel. We promised to listen, and today we are delivering our first major post-Next Fest update, shaped entirely by you.
Here is what’s new in v0.1.8:
A Whole New Way to Drive (Literally!)
Previously, our procedurally generated world was a bit too flat. We’ve completely overhauled the terrain generation system!
Dynamic Terrains: Get ready for rolling hills, steep dips, and unpredictable bumps that will test your driving skills.
- Forks in the RoadThe path ahead is no longer a straight line. You will now encounter road splits and intersections. Choose your path wisely—each turn could lead to new discoveries or new dangers.
Overhauled Driving Experience
With new roads come new responsibilities. We’ve tweaked and polished the vehicle physics and driving mechanics to make handling feel more responsive, grounded, and satisfying as you navigate the new rugged terrain.
Stability & Bug Fixes
We went on a massive bug-hunting spree based on your reports.
Crushed several game-breaking and minor bugs.
Optimized overall performance for a much smoother and more stable gameplay experience.
Standing Shoulder to Shoulder
Making Into the End of the World the best experience possible is a journey we are taking together. We are committed to working side-by-side with our community, and we won't stop pushing boundaries to make this game everything you deserve.
Update your game, jump back into the driver's seat, and let us know what you think of the new roads in the comments or over on our Discord!
Safe travels, RabbiX Team
