Hey, Lightbearers! 🔥
We’re excited to share a little side project that’s been quietly in the works here at Tiny Roar! Our artist Jonas, who led the art direction on Into the Emberlands, has been working on something small, cozy, and wonderfully connected to the Emberlands universe: Emberlands: Desktop Village.
Many of you mentioned after playing Into the Emberlands that you wished you could build your own little village and arrange buildings however you liked — and that’s exactly what this project is about!
✨ What to look forward to in Emberlands — Desktop Village:
🏘️ Place and arrange tiles to design your own floating village
🪵 Unlock new tiles and upgrades with the resources that the Knack gathers for you while roaming your screen
🔭 Discover themed collections (over 60 tiles across multiple sets at full release)
✨ Upgrade your Knack to improve resource gathering and unlock more options
🔥 Collect your favorite buildings and characters from Into the Emberlands and make them part of your village
This project is small but packed with charm - the same love for art and world-building that went into Into the Emberlands. If you like cozy, low-pressure games that you can watch grow while you work, this one’s for you.
