First of all, thanks to everyone who already played the game! In this post, I would like to talk about the future updates for the game. The plan below is approximate and may change over time, over time, but for now, this is what I'm aiming for.

June

Over the next few weeks, I'll focus on bug fixes and balance adjustments. Adding cloud save support is also on the list, as well as some UX improvements (such as a hotkey for the top-down view).

I'll also try to add Mac support.

July - September

Some interesting features that I'd like to add as soon as possible because I think they'll make the game even more enjoyable.

  • Steam achievements. Because why not?

  • Endless (Sandbox) mode - survive on a selected map with no objective. Test your decks, explore and play until you run out of food

  • Hard mode - complete the expedition with more disasters, increased exhaustion and additional challenges

  • New cards and relics

  • After completing a stage, unspect food and production will be converted into something (I'm still thinking about this)

  • A special event that removes selected cards from your deck until the end of the expedition

Further plans (no exact date)

Ideas that I may implement in the future, but I can't promise when it will happen

  • New biomes. I haven't thought much about it but something like

    • A desert-themed biome with sandstorms and drought

    • A tightly packed biome with narrow caves and limited space

  • New difficulty modifiers for existing levels

  • New neutral structures

  • New objectives

  • An expanded Knowledge Base with information about cards, buildings, and biomes.

  • A special mechanic that removes certain cards until the end of the stage.

Again, this plan may change in the future. I also listen to your feedback, so feel free to suggest your ideas through the feedback form (available in the main menu), in the Steam discussions or in the Discord server.
